Recording with Zync's Mobile App

Zync's mobile app is accessible through your Recording Studio Link.

Simply click on the link you receive via email or message to get started.

If the app isn't installed, you'll be prompted to download it. If you already have the app, it will automatically open and load your recording session details.

From there, you can record in smaller segments and complete your session effortlessly within the app.

Zync Mobile FAQ

I installed the app, but it says I need to access the link from the Recording Studio. What does that mean?

The Zync AI Mobile App is a companion app designed to work with Zync's Mobile Web experience.

To join a recording session, you need to access it through the correct link:

-> Click "Join Studio" from your Join Page on Zync Mobile Web.
-> Alternatively, open the email titled "Ready, Set, Create: [Your Topic Name]" and click the provided link to launch the app directly.

How do I use Zync on a mobile device?

1. Open your mobile web browser and go to Zync Portal or click "Sign In" from zync.ai.

2. From the dashboard, you can view existing recording sessions or create new ones.

3. Click "Launch Session", which will take you to the Join Page.

4. On the Join Page, you’ll see a link to download the Zync Mobile App (if you haven't already). Download and install it on your phone.
5. Click "Join Studio", and it will seamlessly open the mobile app.
6. Inside the app, you can edit your recording script. To break the script into segments, leave a blank line between sections.

7. Click "Start Recording" and record each segment. The teleprompter will automatically expand as you begin recording.

8. Swipe to move between different script segments.
9. Once you're done recording, hit the Back button to view your list of recorded segments.

10. After all segments are uploaded, you’ll see a "Complete Recording" button. Click it, and you're done!

Is ZyncUp available on mobile?

Not right now, but it's coming soon! However, you can create a ZyncUp session on the web and then record it on your mobile device.

Can I edit my script on a mobile device?

Yes! Once you join the studio inside the Zync App, you can edit your script before recording.

Why didn’t my YouTube Highlights (landscape video) generate when recording from my phone?

Currently, when you record using the mobile app, only square and portrait videos are generated. Landscape videos are not created from mobile recordings.

Why can't I see my full Content Kit on Mobile Web?

The mobile web version currently displays a basic version of the Content Kit. To access the full Content Kit, please visit the desktop web page.
