Zync Recording Studio makes video creation simple and stress-free. When you begin, just click the “Join Studio” button on your Join Page. The experience is as familiar as entering a Zoom call. Once inside, adjust your camera, microphone, and lighting to set the perfect scene.
Your script is conveniently divided into short, manageable segments, each pre-set to around 10 seconds for easy recall. This setup allows you to focus on one part at a time, making it feel natural to speak directly to the camera. You can even edit the script on the spot, customize each segment, or add line breaks to suit your preferred flow.
When ready, click “Next” to access the Zync Prompter, which displays each segment near the camera, helping you maintain eye contact effortlessly. Start recording each segment with a simple click, speak naturally, and hit “Stop” when done. The prompter will automatically move to the next segment. For quick control, use the space bar to start, stop, and advance recording seamlessly.
If a segment doesn’t turn out as you’d like, no worries—just go back and re-record as needed, and Zync will use your final takes. When finished, Zync automatically assembles your video with captions and effects, ready to publish in minutes. With Zync’s intuitive Segmented Prompter, recording feels easy, and creating a polished video becomes a pleasure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the Edit Button disabled inside my Studio ?
Once you start recording, you won’t be able to edit the script. However, you can still say different things than what’s written, so minor script edits aren’t necessary.
Can I record the entire script in one take without segments?
Absolutely! To record in one continuous shot, just edit the Video Script to combine everything into a single segment. When recording, you’ll see only one segment to complete in one go.
Can I record my answers freely without using a script?
What if I don't want a script and I want to free form record my answers?
Yes, you can do that as well. Simply delete the script and record freely. The script is optional and only serves as guidance. You can even set up a few placeholder segments and speak freely during each one.
What if I make a mistake? Can I re-record a segment?
Yes, you can do as many retakes as needed. You don’t have to redo the whole video—just go to the segment you’d like to fix and re-record it. Your latest take will automatically be saved as final.
How long can videos be ? Can I create videos longer than 5 minutes ?
Videos cannot be longer than 5 minutes.
Zync is specifically built for short form video content so you cannot creator longer vides on Zync at the moment.

Inside the studio, you’ll find your script broken down line by line, making it super easy to record in short segments.
You can edit the script anytime to fit your voice and style.
When you're ready, jump into the Recorder.
Read each line once to get familiar, then speak naturally to the camera when recording.
This keeps your video authentic and conversational.
After you record a segment, it will automatically upload while you move on to the next.
If you ever want to redo a segment, you can easily preview it or re-record until you’re happy.
Remember, the total length of your final video can’t exceed 5 minutes, so plan your script accordingly.
When you hit the record button, pause for a moment before you start speaking, and again at the end before stopping.
Those pauses will be trimmed out automatically when your video is stitched together.
You can also use the space bar as a shortcut to start and stop recording.
Once you’re done recording all your segments, hit the Complete button and exit the studio.
Keep the browser window open until all uploads finish — then you’re all set.
